Interest in QCTU this year mandated that we create a qualifying event in order to accommodate all of the teams expressing interest. Our hope is to use both QCTU and the QCTU Qualifier to build an even bigger and stronger tournament in the future.
Friday night will feature a showcase game between local women’s club team Phoenix and host college team UNC-Chapel Hill. On Saturday afternoon, players from Phoenix and the Pleiades will host a skills clinic geared toward three specific age groups: middle school girls, participants in TYUL’s new U-20 Girls League, and college players playing in the QCTU Qualifier. We look forward to teaming up with Phoenix and UNC to continue building women’s ultimate in Chapel Hill, the Atlantic Coast Region, and beyond.
